| Here compared: "Chiffchaff" singing at Oegstgeest, and the Iberian Chiffchaff of Haarlem, summer 2010, singing. Note that the Oegstgeest bird usually sang differently (hear the other posted recording), but did sing in this Ib Chiff kind of way after Ib Chiff playback... Still, as can be seen from the sonogram, this bird does hardly sing identicall to a true Iberian Chiffchaff (as far as I know). So, may this be a bird of mixed origin? And in what generation since? Or just a funny Common Chiffchaff? | |
