Over a month now this adult male Oldsquaw has been trying to get rid of palmoil residues from tankcleaning off the Belgium and Dutch coast. By frantic daily cleaning it has plucked all foul belly feathers leaving only down to keep it warm. If the down won't hold this nice bird will die after all.
