Greater Sand Plover / Charadrius leschenaultii

VII This bird could be identified as a Greater Sand Plover Charadrius leschenaultii. It was photographed at the Red Sea, Egypt, in October 2007 by Edwin Winkel. The identification of the bird is extensively discussed in Dutch Birding 30: 341-343, 2008.

VIII This bird depicted in mystery photograph VI is a White-cheeked Tern Sterna repressa. It was photographed at the Red Sea, Egypt, in October 2007 by Edwin Winkel. The identification of the bird is discussed in Dutch Birding 30: 341-343, 2008.

Winners
