Dutch Birding fund

Dutch Birding is a non-profit journal run and produced by volunteers. Also, authors, photographers and artists do not receive any payment for their contributions. In special cases, however, Dutch Birding can offer authors, photographers and artists financial support to pay for expenses necessary to offer papers to Dutch Birding. The Dutch Birding fund can help authors to prepare high-quality papers on identification and/or taxonomy in cases where more-than-average expenses have to be made and where these expenses would normally prevent authors to offer their work to Dutch Birding. Proposals are prepared in collaboration with the editors and must be approved by the board of the Dutch Birding Association. There is also a small budget for short term requests/offers.
